EXHIBIT A GALLERY— Opportunity & Growth Initiative for Emerging Artists

Exhibit A Gallery is proud to introduce a new initiative offering real opportunities for emerging artists whose work meets the standard of our curated, themed group shows. This program is designed to create meaningful exposure and sales potential by integrating new talent alongside our established roster—strengthening the entire creative ecosystem while upholding our commitment to artistic excellence.

We value merit, professionalism, and clarity of purpose. Participation in our exhibitions requires meeting a high creative standard and contributing to production costs—a model that reflects the realities of pursuing a serious art career. This is not a “pay-to-show” situation; the possibility of a refund upon sale makes that clear. Our goal is mutual success.

The “Intervals” program extends this vision by offering continued visibility to artists who have already proven themselves in our main exhibitions. It’s about ongoing growth with shared commitment.

We offer opportunity—not entitlement. Exhibit A Gallery is coming from experience and realism. We know what it takes to build a lasting career in a competitive industry, and we want to work with artists who understand that too.

Here’s what we believe:

  • Success is earned. It takes time, effort, and often money.
  • Entitlement kills momentum. Thinking you “deserve” success without putting in the work is a losing mindset.
  • Talent isn’t enough. It must be developed, positioned, and promoted.
  • Art is a career. Like any other field, it requires investment, strategy, and persistence.
  • Markets matter. The art world has dynamics you must understand to navigate effectively.
  • An emerging artist is not an established artist. Established artists have done the work, and it has taken time, blood, sweat, tears, and money to gain their positions in their careers.

Our Commitment

Exhibit A Gallery is dedicated to presenting exceptional work and expanding visibility for artists who take their craft and careers seriously. This initiative invites emerging artists whose work meets our standards to participate in a meaningful, results-driven way. The membership fee offsets the cost of larger exhibitions—but our core focus remains the same: curating powerful shows and driving sales.

We encourage artists whose work aligns with our vision to submit for curatorial review. Please note: no artist is accepted based on payment alone. Only those who meet our highest criteria will be invited to exhibit.

The Core Components in Participating in Themed Group Exhibitions:


Exhibitions:

   ● Emerging artists will have the opportunity to be invited to participate in our professionally curated, themed group shows alongside our well-known artists based on the artistic merit and relevance of their submitted work to the exhibition's theme.


The Benefit for Established Artists:

Having emerging artists participate in group shows alongside established names can inject fresh energy and perspectives into the exhibition, potentially attracting a broader and more diverse audience, including those specifically interested in discovering new talent. This dynamic can create a buzz and renewed interest in the established artists' work as well, fostering a sense of mentorship and contributing to the overall vibrancy and relevance of the gallery's program. Furthermore, it positions the established artists as supporters of the next generation, enhancing their legacy within the art community.


Selection Process: 

Our curatorial team will review submissions based on talent, innovation, style, experience (where applicable), vision, and imagination, and their potential to enhance the overall artistic dialogue of the show.


Invitation to Participate & Membership Fee: 

Only artists whose work is deemed a strong and relevant addition to the exhibition will receive an invitation to participate. Upon receiving this invitation, artists will then have the option to secure their place in the show by paying the membership fee.

    ●  $300 per single artwork.

    ● $500 for two artworks.

  ● A curatorial selection process will be in place to ensure the quality and thematic relevance of all exhibited works. The fee alone associated with a curated opportunity is not a guaranteed entry, an artist must  be accepted first and then the fee will apply.

   

Sales & Commission:

   ● A standard gallery commission of 50% applies to all sales of emerging artists' work, just like our established artists.

   ● Membership Fee Refund: 

If an emerging artist's piece sells during the exhibition, their participation fee for that sold piece(s) will be fully refunded.

 

Digital Display Opportunity:

Two prominent digital framed monitors are installed at the two back side walls facing the entrance of the gallery, offering the highest visibility.

   ● Digital artists can have their work displayed in rotation on these monitors.

   ●   Digital Display Selection & Fee: Digital artists interested in this opportunity must submit their work for curatorial review. Only selected digital artworks that complement the gallery's aesthetic will be offered a spot on the monitors for a fee of $100 per artwork for the duration of the themed exhibition (up to 40 digital artists per show).


Print Sales for Digital Artists:

     ● The gallery will offer high-quality prints of the displayed digital artwork for sale at $75 per 16X20 Giclee print.

     ● Digital artists will pay the gallery $40 production cost per print in advance prior to the exhibition.

     ● The gallery staff will manage print sales and the artists will retain 100% of the sales.


 "Intervals" Continued Visibility Program:

   ● Emerging artists who have been selected and participated in our main themed shows and whose work does not sell during the initial exhibition will be eligible for our "Intervals" program.

   ● "Intervals" provides ongoing display in the gallery between main exhibitions for a monthly fee of $300.

   ● "Intervals" Sales & Partial Refund: If a piece sells during its "Intervals" display, the artist will receive our standard 50% commission. The monthly display fees paid will be refunded up to a maximum of 50% of the final sale price.

 ● Potential for Sales & Career Growth: Benefit from the gallery's marketing efforts and established clientele with a standard commission structure and the incentive of a fee refund upon sale.

 ● Digital Platform Opportunity (Selective): A cost-effective way for digital artists whose work aligns with the gallery to present their art in a prime location.

 ● Continued Visibility: The "Intervals" program offers a second opportunity for unsold works from selected artists to be seen and sold.

 ● Professional Gallery Representation Experience: Gain experience working with a reputable gallery and understanding the professional art market.


Our Commitment:

EXHIBIT A GALLERY is committed to curating compelling and high-quality exhibitions. This initiative invites talented emerging artists whose work demonstrates artistic merit and contributes meaningfully to our themed shows to participate. The membership fee is a contribution towards the costs of presenting these expanded exhibitions, and our primary goal remains the successful sale of artwork for all our represented artists.

We believe this model offers a unique and valuable opportunity for selected emerging artists to take significant steps forward in their careers. We encourage talented artists whose work aligns with our gallery's vision and the themes of our upcoming exhibitions to submit their work for curatorial consideration. Please understand that the gallery will not accept a fee to participate in any gallery shows without the highest criteria being met.

 ● Success is earned: It's rarely handed out and usually requires significant investment of time, effort, and often money.

 ● Entitlement is counterproductive: A sense of deserving success without putting in the work or understanding the market realities can be a significant obstacle.

 ● Talent is not enough: While foundational, talent needs to be nurtured, developed, marketed, and strategically applied.

 ● Building a career requires investment: Just like in other professions with education, internships, and networking, artists need to invest in their development and visibility.

 ● Market realities exist: The art world, like the music industry, has its own dynamics, and understanding them is crucial for navigating a career.
